Why us · Dealer vs. independent
You have a choice. It's a good one.
Dealers do good work. An independent shop gives you the same know-how with more say, more transparency, and the person who fixed your car on the phone.
Labor-rate comparison is general, not a quote. Try the labor calculator or ask us for a detailed quote on your job.

Labor is usually the biggest line on a repair bill. Pick a common job and see what the labor costs at a typical dealer compared with us. Same book time, a lower rate.

Labor only, using typical book times. Parts are quoted separately, and you get a detailed, itemized quote we go over with you before any repairs. Dealer rate is a typical range for the area, not a specific dealer’s price.
Your rights
Your warranty is safe here.
A common myth says you have to service a new car at the dealer to keep the factory warranty. You don't.
The federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act says a manufacturer can't void your warranty, or deny a claim, just because maintenance was done by an independent shop or because you used non-dealer parts. The FTC enforces this.
What matters is that the maintenance gets done on schedule and you can show it. We follow your manufacturer's service schedule, use parts that meet spec, and keep a record of every visit for you.
The one exception: recalls and repairs covered under your factory warranty are paid for by the manufacturer, so those still go to the dealer. We'll tell you when that's the case.
