Keep in mind
- Stranded? Stay with the car. Run the engine about 10 minutes an hour for heat, with the tailpipe clear and a window cracked.
- Winter kit: scraper and brush, small shovel, sand or kitty litter, blanket, gloves and hat, phone charger, flashlight, jumper cables or a jump pack, snacks and water.
